The Congregation Council is the board of directors of this congregation and, as such, shall be responsible for maintaining and protecting its property and managing its business and fiscal affairs. It shall have the powers and be subject to the obligations that pertain to such boards under the laws of the State of Florida, except as otherwise provided in the governing Constitution. The School Board is a committee of the Congregation and subject to the guidance and supervision of the Congregation Council. The School Board is responsible for the success of the Congregation’s Trinity Lutheran School ministry. The duties of the School Board include regular monthly board meetings to administer the affairs of the school, responsibility to establish policies and plans consistent with the school’s mission, vision, and values, develop a written annual evaluation of the Principal, work with the Principal to establish goals for the following year, assure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and minimize exposure to legal action, work collaboratively to ensure all members are actively involved in the work of the Board and its committees, evaluate itself annually.
